Philosophy of Useful Farm Products Fly Control

Simply put, fly control products must be safe, easy-to-use, and most importantly, they must be effective!

Safe! – we don’t use toxic sprays, chemicals or poisons as these types of product are usually toxic to flies they cannot be good for cows, alpacas, horses or other livestock. We don’t use ear tags were feed-through or drenches. Again if these kinds of products are toxic to flies or fly larva they cannot be good for livestock. So we only use and sell products that are safe and non-toxic to all livestock and poultry and can be used on organic farms.

Easy-to-use! – Over 25 years we have had the opportunity to test multitudes of fly products: traps, tapes, spray systems, parasites, diatomaceous earth, sprays, rubs, etc. our experience as led us to a combination of four, easy-to-use products that will give you knockout level control of flies.

Fly Parasites are used for bothThe life cycle of a fly and parasite wasp that naturally interrupts the fly reproductive cycle inside and outside fly control. Fly parasites are natures own way to control flies. The parasites kill fly larva thus preventing the hatch and fly parasites are somewhat self perpetuating. Fly parasites are harmless to livestock and the environment. To use fly parasites effectively, you need to follow a plan that matches your farm location, size and number of animals, and desired control.
